Students in Miss Tara Manson and Mrs. Chastity McLaney’s 7th grade Language Arts classes recently completed a unit of study about Nelson Mandela.  To assess what they have learned about research, different genres, and the influence of great leaders, students worked in partnerships to create a multimedia presentation about a great leader and his or her impact on society.  Subjects ranged from Kobe Bryant to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  Students created original graphics and a bibliography of sources.  Students presented to their peers and participated in a feedback session to improve their presentation skills.
