WMS Students Put Their Heads Together to Study Exothermic Chemical Reactions

Mrs. Reinke's 8th grade science students recently worked cooperatively to use digital thermometers connected to computers to collect data on exothermic chemical reactions.  After putting vinegar on a piece of steel wool, and the program recorded the temperature every half second and plotted it on a graph.  Students enjoyed this hands-on learning opportunity that combined science and technology.
