On Tuesday, November 16th, Walton Middle School ag students had a special four-legged visitor.  Camped out by the chicken pens, a bottle-fed calf hung out, enjoying visits from human friends.  Mr. Joe Proffitt welcomed local farmer Woody Braswell and his daughter Riley as guest speakers.  Along with sharing their friendly, fuzzy calf, the Braswells spoke about the beef industry and the hard work required to run a farm.  What a delightful, knowledge-building experience for Mr. Proffitt's ag classes!
