ICT
Information & Communications Technology
In 6th and 7th grade ICT courses, students have the opportunity to earn certifications in Computing Essentials; Word Processing; Multimedia; Programming and Logic; Gaming; and CyberSecurity. We are excited to be able to incorporate Ozobots into future classes.
In 8th grade ICT, students are working towards certifications in Spreadsheets, Databases and Web Design; with future classes having the chance to incorporate coding and programming and 3D Printing. In the DIT (Digitial Information Technology) class students work towards receiving the IBA (Internet Business Assoiciate) certification. The DIT course is a high school credit course (ICT isn't). DIT also uses the program Project Lead the Way (PLTW) to do Mobile Application Development.
