In Mr. Brendon Murphy's U.S. history classes on this WICOR Wednesday, students put their inquiry skills to work, examining the experiences and perspectives of significant individuals and groups during an important era in American history.  As an opening lesson on the Louisiana Purchase, students "looked" through the lenses of Lewis and Clark and identified animals as if they had never been discovered, giving these creatures names and describing their unique characteristics.  Thinking like early U.S. explorers makes history relevant and fun!
